In America, we have created a lifestyle rich in excess and waste. The air is toxic, many waters are severely polluted, and our foods are grown in soils depleted of nutrients. We continue to dump mountains of industrial waste into our oceans, rivers, and lakes. And our diet staples come packaged with poisonous chemicals and hormones to increase shelf life and refined sugars to fool our desensitized taste buds.
A scientist once commented that if our bodies were to be sold on the open meat market, most of us, due to the toxins we have accumulated, wouldn't pass a basic USDA inspection.
Our toxic lifestyle is the leading cause of death in the United States. Cancer, heart disease, obesity, strokes, and many other diseases are tied directly to our diet and surrounding environment. We don't even notice the quality of the air that we breathe, the water that we drink, or the foods that we eat. But all take a toll on our bodies.
There are other conditions that are not only tied to our diet, but also to the buildup of toxins in the body that come to overwhelm our internal organs and cellular processes. These include fatigue, memory loss, premature aging, skin deterioration, anxiety, and emotional disorders.
Free Radicals, Again
We have discussed the role of free radicals in other articles. Most of the toxins we are exposed to, whether it be smoke in the air, alcohol, or artificial preservatives, produce enormous amounts of free radicals in our bodies. Think of a large crane rolling down a city street, it's wrecking ball swinging side to side. The path of damage and destruction is similar to what free radicals do when they bounce around inside us. They literally tear our cells apart and cause degeneration to our cellular makeup. And the premature aging effects? The body can't keep up as it tries to repair the constant free radical damage, and is forced to divert energy and sustenance away from non-critical areas such as skin quality, muscle growth and repair, and bone maintenance.
We Can Do Something To Clean Out The Body
Fortunately there are steps we can take to reverse the effects that these accumulated toxins have inflicted. There are ways to cleanse the body through diet and supplementation, that will literally force out all the waste that permeate our skin and internal organs, especially the liver, GI tract, and bloodstream.
Programs
There are programs that work through a series of fasts, some using pure fruit juice, others only water. There are more comprehensive systems that combine fasting with selected supplements and a tailored exercise program. We will be publishing reviews of some of these programs in the coming months. One program I can recommend without reservation is the Master Cleanse Secrets 10 Day Diet. If you adhere to the steps outlined, you'll see and feel a difference almost immediately. Just pay attention to the steps as it can be a shock to your system when starting.
And that's what any good cleansing program does. It jumpstarts your body and forces out the toxins that have built up over time.
Supplements
We also recommend a supplement called the Bowtrol Colon Cleanser. The supplement combines a unique set of amino acids, herbs, and vitamins to promote a systematic cleansing of the body. Trust me, used correctly, this supplement will work in conjunction with a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables to expel toxins from the liver, GI system, and other organs of the body.
They also tout the Bowtrol Colon Cleanser as an aid to weight loss. That may be true as it does have some natural appetite suppressing ingredients, but the cleansing effects are why I use it on a regular basis. Once I complete a cycle, my energy levels are higher, I feel better, and I sleep more soundly.
